Day Thirteen: Something Old
Today I’m thankful for old houses. Anything built from the late 1800s-1920s. I love the craftsmanship that went into the houses. The care that went into details like the woodwork. We’ve done a few old houses now, and you always learn something about the people that lived there before you.
It’s great when you’re demolishing walls and you find treasures that were left behind. We’ve found pictures, letters, toys and more in the walls of houses we’ve redone. There is just something romantic about an old house. If only walls could talk and all that.
Much Love,
L Schueder
